The client was looking to load dried distillers grain into 40-foot shipping containers for export. For increased efficiency, the customer decided to purchase two Rapat Series-ETR shuttling
belt conveyors, enabling them to load at least one container at all times. Rapat supplied the conveyors, support structures, and shuttle drives. Rapat also provided the ultrasonic sensors
that enable product pile detection and allow for automated self-retraction of the conveyor as the container fills. The application required modification of the support structures to accommodate the existing loading dock and the addition of a second directional inlet with skirting to accept the necessary chute work.
