A client looking to act fast to capitalize on local sand in the Permian Basin Oilfield in Texas contacted Rapat for help. As a result, Rapat took on one of its largest projects and swiftly engineered, fabricated and shipped two complete conveyor systems that included trippers, reversing, reclaim and trussed frame conveyors; the largest of which included three 500 HP motors, right angle drives, a shared drive tower and walkways. The entire project was completed in a streamlined 7-month process. Due in part to that quick turnaround, the client beat the competition to the market and is now the largest sand producer within the largest shale play in the United States.
