A frac sand processing facility was in need of bucket elevators to vertically transfer silica sand to its rail loadout area. This project included 13 bucket elevators with support towers, service jib cranes and safety guarding. Once selected as the manufacturer, Rapat designed these bucket elevators with industrial components designed to handle the continuous use cycle and abrasive characteristics of the material. With Rapat’s extensive experience in designing similar equipment, the project met the accelerated timeline and also exceeded the client’s performance requirements.
