When a leading bulk storage and material handling system company needed advanced process equipment for a new frac sand transload facility in West Virginia, they relied on Rapat’s industry experience to design and build the integrated convey system. Implementing special design considerations for the abrasive frac sand, Rapat supplied a distributor, bucket elevator, stair tower, enclosed conveyors and support structures. Rapat was able to meet the expedited schedule by using modular components that were similar to those supplied to the same customer on previous projects.
