Urea Facility, Georgia
Project Type: Urea Facility
Location: Georgia
Capacities: 20-100 TPH
Rapat faced multiple challenges when designing a new material transfer system for a high-grade urea facility. The product required gentle handling to prevent degradation and, due to space restrictions, steep inclines had to be used. Rapat designed, engineered and manufactured the corrugated sidewall conveyors with 316 stainless steel construction to hold up to handling the highly corrosive urea. Not only the housing, but all conveyor components were constructed of stainless steel, and the belting was chemical resistant to prevent corrosion. In addition to the corrugated sidewall conveyors, Rapat designed and built the trussing and support structures.
